MOSS stands for Marketing, Operations, Science, and Strategy, four pillars of executive marketing mastery.
Located in the University Park neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, the MOSS School of Marketing was created to fill the gap in professional education between online learning and peer mentorship. Our students can participate from anywhere in the world, with first-year graduates in Portland, Seattle, Houston, Boston, Baltimore, Nashville, New York City and London.
Meet the Professor
John “Pinky Gonzales” Jansen is a marketing leader with over 20 years of digital innovation, D2C, B2B, and tech start-up experience.
He was an award-winning adjunct professor of Brand Development and Digital Strategy at Belmont University and served on the Board of Advisors at the Portland State University Center for Retail Leadership. He has worked with Anheuser-Busch, Qualcomm, LinkedIn Corp and dozens of mid-sized companies in the consumer products, retail, e-commerce, and entertainment sectors.
Gonzales is also recognized in the music industry as a cofounder of echomusic, a pioneering digital marketing firm famous for its work with Kanye West, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson and other iconic entertainers.
Today, Pinky Gonzales is a full-time business and marketing advisor with industry-leading expertise in marketing operations management, e-commerce, marketing finance, market research, and customer acquisition strategies.
